Our optical shop is inside the clinic, so the prescription your specialist writes is read and made up in the same building, with the option of asking whoever examined you directly if anything is unclear.

- Sunglasses with UV protection, with or without prescription.
- Contact lens fitting and follow-up.
How to choose your lenses
The right lens depends on your prescription and on what you do all day. A few practical points:
- If you spend long hours on screens, an anti-reflective coating makes a noticeable difference to end-of-day fatigue.
- If you are over 45 and need to see clearly at distance and near, progressives save switching glasses, and take one to two weeks to get used to.
- If your prescription is strong, high-index lenses reduce thickness and weight.
- If you work outdoors, UV exposure in the Coffee Region is high all year round: sun protection is not optional.
Warranty and adaptation
We stay with you through the adaptation to new glasses, especially with progressives. If after wearing them something does not feel right, come back to the shop: in most cases it is an adjustment to the frame or to the lens height, and it is fixed on the spot.

Can I buy glasses with a prescription from somewhere else?
Yes. We just need the prescription to be current and complete. If it is more than a year old, we recommend a check before investing in new lenses.
How long do glasses take?
It depends on the lens type and the treatments. The shop confirms the expected time when you place the order.
Are progressives hard to get used to?
They take adaptation, one to two weeks for most people. It helps to wear them all day from the start rather than alternating with your old glasses.
Does insurance cover glasses?
Coverage of lenses and frames depends on your plan and your regime. The shop will tell you what applies in your case.
